About Us
​​ We are proud to be a 3rd generation family business, representing over 80 years in the water systems industry. Starting before 1940, grandfather Ralph Porter sold Fairbanks Morse Pumps, eventually moving to BC. In 1967 we became factory sales agents for Monarch Pumps under the name of Hett Agencies, a company that still remains in the family. Our relationship with Monarch continues today as Franklin Electric. Groundwater Hydrolics was founded in 1972 to support the marketing of pumps and to create a one-stop outlet for a complete line of water system accessories. Groundwater’s founder Les Porter continues to work with our 3rd generation, his son Ryan. After being located in Vancouver for over 48 years we are excited to have moved to a new warehouse in Tilbury Delta, BC.
